The National Council of La Raza provides assistance to local community-based organizations working to improve economic opportunities, housing, education, and health care in Hispanic communities. The organization also gathers statistics, undertakes research, conducts policy analyses, and offers training in fundraising. It publishes a variety of newsletters, periodicals, and handbooks.
